I used to enjoy being a star plyer. When plying women I always used the old addage, "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker"..
Okay, somebody fixed the title rendering this post useless...

Erik Ainge. He is due for a big game against the Tide. Yes, he is 2-0 as a starter vs Alabama with wins in 04 and 06... but he has not played his best games vs them. He has gotten the job done and that is all that matters! But I think it is time he leaves his mark on this rivalry with an exclamation point! It will be a big game for the senior QB.

Points seem to be hard to come by of lately in this rivalry so I say that Daniel Lincoln needs to continue his dominance in the kicking game in order to give us the edge. He may be called on 3 or 4 times in this one and let's hope he's brilliant as he has been all year. If he keeps this level of play up, he's a shoe in for the kicker of the year award in college football. With that said, we will probably score 5 touchdowns.

I would agree that Eric needs a HUGE game and so does Arian, but I think it will take individual players who will make just that one all important catch or sack the quarterback which will make the difference in the game. This is so obvious but bears repeating, we must play 60 minutes and not get behind and have to play catch-up. I think $aban will try and out fox Fulmer with some trick plays and we need to win this by scoring in every quarter...we need to give Fulmer a win over AL to remember!!!

1- Ainge- Should be THE star player
2- Lucas- Ainge needs him to be a star player
3- Foster- Can step up to be the star player
4- Bolden-Would be great if he stepped up to his potential, dominated and becomes a star player
5- Berry- Has played well but still waiting for him to be a star player- I think this is the game Berry shines and is the SUPERSTAR he is destined to become.:superman:

I would really like to see our DE's have a big game. The DT's have started playing up to their potential but I haven't seen much from Mitchell, Reynolds, or Ayers. I hope that at least two of these guys are able to get up field and put JPW on his back.

up front on both sides of the ball need to be good. O line needs to be as consistent as they have been the past two weeks and it's time for our front 7 to be a difference maker on defense.

Id have to say the Offensive Line....Without them we cant run, and Ainge gets sacked. Beyond that the defense will need to be fired up and ready for a challenge. I just hope the 11:30 am CST kickoff doesnt throw anyone off.

I agree with o-line, but I also think one of our other receivers are going to have to step up. Taylor is doing most of the work and someone(possibly Saban) is going to force us to find someone else to throw to.

If we win the battle in the trenches, we will win the game.

This is basic fulmer ball, but it rings even more true for the Bama game.

The bama game is generally a smash mouth defensively dominated slugfest.

AF. With Bama out-sized up front, he should be licking his chops. Nothing would make me happier than to cap off my first trip to Tuskerloser with a 7-minute, game-capping, smash-mouth TD drive in the 4th quarter.

I think that we also need A Rogers to step up and not let passes bounce off of his chest or finger tips...He plays well, but misses alot of passes by just a little...
