With about 6 minutes to go in the game, Stanford shifted their line about 5 or 6 times. Bud Foster was LIVID on the sideline and I wanted to show some people at work. Does anyone have a clip of this or know where I can go to find it? I've tried to Youtube it without any luck.

That was BS. I see a trend with Harbaugh. At that point they were just being d*cks. Last year with USC the time out being called was questionable. I didn't see a huge deal. This year though and this deal with the shift against Va Tech just to be a d*ck was uncalled for. I have a lot of respect for ole Frank. That was classless.

get real.. it was some goofy shifts that didnt work they what gained a half a yard. no big deal and it killed some clock. Stanford shifted alot last night and gave Va Tech fits, guess them scoring more points than Va Tech was just them being D***S. They should have lost and shown some respect??????

It was their way to burn time. Maybe Bud Foster's good ol' Lunch Pail D shouldn't give up 500+ yards next time.

It was classless. I am not a Vatech fan I was actually pulling for Stanford. I thought it was classless. They couldnt just hang in the huddle to burn some time? Give me a break. They were being D*cks about it.

gtfo, how is shifting bein a d***? that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. this thread is an epic fail, and i demand that the FAIL DOZER be unbanned for threads like this

The game was in the bag and they were rubbing it in Virginia Tech's face. I don't care if they were confusing them all night, it was classless. Anyway, does anyone know where I can find a clip of this?!?! I can't find it anywhere!

Bud was probably mad because he had seen the shifts on film but still couldn't figure out how to stop them. Maybe they should have just taken a knee or handed the ball back to VT so they wouldn't feel bad? Screw VT and their overrated program. Big boys step up and make plays to stop the opponent not whine about them running "tricky" plays (or lose to weak 1aa programs)

It reminded me of Tom Landry's Dallas Cowboys back in the day.

Perhaps Foster would have preferred Stanford take a knee instead.

i understand that this thread was looking for a clip, however it took an epic fail turn when ppl started crying about being classless and d**** being put up their butt

Newsflash-

It's not illegal to have motion. Not sure how they're "cheats".

I don't get why people are all over Beamer. The man's won one game against a top 5 opponent. Other than that he beats up on the crap of the country.

Would've kept his defense from giving up another 50+ yard play, I guess.

And here I was thinking Tech's defense was some amazing godsent unit coached by Jesus' brother.

I dont think you caught onto his sarcasam.
They had the game in the bag. Line up and run it down their throat some more. Dont run 6 or 7 shifts just to show off. Dont give me the crap that they were just trying to burn time off the clock. They knew exactly what they were doing. If these two were rivals then who cares.

so if it was VT doing it to UVA then it would be ok?

Foster's job is to stop the other team from scoring for 4 quarters. If he thinks the last 6min don't count then he should voluntarily give up 10% of his paycheck from this season

I think that if its rival teams they are gonna give some cheap shots at each other. I didn't have any issues when Stanford called the time out that got some much heat last year against USC they are rival. We can agree to disagree.
