Y10 Row 10 seat 9 who had the audacity to stand and cheer for the Vols while I was trying to enjoy the game.
I mean, who does this guy thinks he is? Does he not understand how much money I have given to this University. I deserve to watch this game without being disturbed by some moron constantly yelling and screaming everytime we get the ball.
I got so frickin tired of hearing:
"Lets Go Defense" , "Lets Go Vols" and "Oooooooooohhhhh"
from this dude.
I finally told him to tone it down and he did. You just got to let these young ones know the limitations.

You're alllllll right, Count!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know DH & I will be personally escorted out by security by our encouraging actions at a game.. :clapping::clapping:
GO VOLS..
GO BIG ORANGE ..
Someone needs to print up BIG ORANGE shirts with the words "STAND UP" on the back of them... Maybe the Official UT "All Your Might" shirts should have it stamped on the back?
Lots of folks around me brought their little kids and that's all they dealt with... the kids'!! I kept trying to get everyone up & yelling, a few finally did but only behind us.. this one row of folks brought a baby about 6 months old, all they did was play with him and hardly paid attention to the game, what a waste of money.. sorry my opinion..
GO VOLS..

I wouldn't say anything to the guy, just enjoy the game and support your team. I'd still stand and cheer while we're on defense and when we score but other than that I wouldn't worry about it. Of course if the guy continues to be an obnoxious douche there are ways to make his experience more "enjoyable" to the point where he keeps his ass at home. Just don't do anything stupid and get banned from the stadium.Sits the epitome of why Neyland has lost its "mojo"...
I was seated BEHIND him, and was yelled at by him for being too loud and standing up too much.
These are the three things I yelled throughout the game:
1. Oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh!!!!!! (While we were on defense)
2. Let's go DEFENSE!
3. Let's go VOLS!
After I ever so slightly bumped his hat while celebrating Hunter's wide open TD, he turned around and got up in my face telling me to "Tone it down!!!"
I told him that he needed to stand his butt up and cheer like everyone else, and to that he reponded "F you!"
I've read these type of threads for years, but it finally happened to me...
So sad.
I was in a cluster of about 15-20 people out of the entire section who would stand up and yell while the VOLS were on defense... Even on big 3rd downs! What has happened to my beloved Neyland?
GO VOLS!
Really? X3? Because I was threatened and attacked by a guy behind me Saturday in X3 for standing up and yelling on defense. I've already told the story in another thread, but to summarize, couple stood up for the entire halftime show, yet guy threatened me twice, then actually tried to throw me down for standing during football. That entire side of the stadium is pathetic.

Why people bring babies to anything like that I will never know. Hire a babysitter for a few hours. People don't need to bring small children to stuff like UT football games until they are old enough to actually enjoy themselves.[/QUOTE said:How old is old enough? I took my 6 month old daughter and it was a great experience. Thanks for your input, Dr. Spock.

somebody told me to sit down i told him that there was a good seat in his living room. if you dont want to cheer STAY HOME and if you want to come just sit there and shut up and don't get mad at me for cheering for my team.
I don't know how old is old enough to bring a "young" child under 1 to a game but when we were leaving and coming down the steps, some kid was stretched out on the steps- mother gave me "that" look and I waited for her to move him.. sort of dangerous letting one climb all over.. sorry but no one is trying to be Dr. Spock, I mentioned the kids' where we were- the parents didn't yell, stand or anything, it was all about the kids, doing for them.. that couldn't have been a nice experience for them...
GO VOLS..
GO BIG ORANGE..
It sounds like you were terribly inconvenienced. You should have just stepped on the next generation of Vol fans..I'm guessing you don't have kids.
Yes, I'm a Mother, are you? My son is 39yrs old and and graphic design artist, thank you very much... No I wasn't inconvenienced in the least, you think i wanted to fall on that child, want to see a drunk fall on him or even worse the child alone roll down the steps or crushed under the stampede of folks leaving? Geesh have some common courtesy for those around ya.. I'd of never thought to take a young one to a place with that level of noise.. those parents weren't having a good time, you could tell..
maybe your child is different, then kudos to you for raising him right.. an itty bitty VOLS fan..
