We went to the Texas-Wyoming game last weekend, before our cruise, and this is what we saw.

They were the only 2 d bags standing on the entire side of the field.

Georgia fans say the same thing every season, "wait 'til next season!"

You all ran your mouth last year until we stomped it in, I guess we have to keep doing it. At some point or another, you should realize your program is garbage compared to ours and you don't matter.

Haha great minds think alike

...kudos to you for looking at the woman behind you like she had lost her mind when she told you to sit down so she could see when it was 17-10 and you were cheering rabidly. Even more for remaining standing and driving her crazy.

And no, she wasn't elderly or anything else of the sort. Perfectly fine, she just wanted to sit there with her legs crossed and watch the game.
I got told to sit down one time. I told the guy where to stick it. Kudos to that guy. Being told to sit down when you spend YOUR hard earned money on a ticket you look forward to using all week is ridiculous. Luckily its only happened once. Just think it is pathetic we have to petition the fans to get loud and then when the fans do their "job" people in the stands get mad. I say if you don't like me standing up in front of you, stand up yourself so you can see over me. JMO

Some drunken redneck fell asleep in the row behind me with a full pint of wild turkey 101 by his feet. A couple of people next to him drank the whole pint during the game. When he woke up in the third quarter he was looking around for that bottle and they told him he had drank it all in the first half.

I was in U, row 6, and an older man started screaming, "down in front" repeatedly. I, politely, informed him that we just watched the kickoff and if he wanted to sit down he should have stayed at home!

And your not standing why? So it makes them D-bags?

Yes, they are. If no one else is standing then sit down. Sitting for the slow parts of the game or when NO ONE ELSE is standing doesn't make you any less of a fan.

Someone else posted the rules elsewhere but I'll repeat:

If others are standing (especially in front of you) then stand if you want. If everyone is sitting then sit. Realize that if you're the only jackass standing then you are making the gameday experience worse for everyone else behind you who now have to stand because YOU want to.

I stand the whole time we are on d and usually jump up during the play on o. I just get excited and can't stay seated during a play.

If the person behind me wants me to sit down then I will gladly sit down once they compensate me the price of my ticket. Otherwise they can stfu

I tend to agree with this...of course there are those "superfans" that claim you have to be standing at all times or you aren't a "true" fan.

not to be "that guy", but that's not our chant. alot of teams use a variation of it.

i was @ the game and that certainly was not the case. we had some hit the exits when we were down 2 tds but unlike your vols we actually had the nads to comeback and make it a ballgame....without 6 starters in the line up. see you on Oct 9th....you'll have that early exit thingy down pat by then.

You had the nads to make a comeback, but the inability to win. Congrats on trying?

I would say that you were being defensive . . . but we know that nobody has seen defense at UGA in several years.
:lolabove:

i was in secton G row 10, the two guys in front of me sat the entire second half. It's the student section, nobody sits. They ended up leaving at the start of the 4th quarter, so I said, "Good we didn't want you here anyway."

the guy pushes me and mumbles something. I push him back and he takes off up the stairs.

douche, you know who you are. Don't come back to the student section if you're just gonna be a puss

I was right behind you. Section G row 11. The two girls behind me left IN THE SECOND QUARTER! Wanna know why? "Like ommagaw I'm soooo sweaty". I guess it never dawned on her that when it's pushing 90 and your rubbin elbows with people that you might get a little hot.

i really enjoyed myself up there. only three rows back in PP. good view. not too close to the UF fan overflow in II and JJ. most everyone behaved. right before kickoff though, one "brave" but inebriated UF fan walked by our isle and screamed up at us (mostly vol fans) in his best slurred speech "go vols!" everyone just looked at each other. i think one dude even shot him a bird followed by the classic "you suck!" from fellow vol fans. glad noone told me to sit down when i was up and cheering. seemed i was in good company.

it got loud up there. much better sounding than in the countryclub seats from the other posts im reading on here. especially the old money fans, lol. i looked out over there across the stadium up under the canopy and it looked like a bunch of statues. i didnt see anyone moving over there or jumping up and down. glad i wasnt over on that side from what im hearing.
