...kudos to you for looking at the woman behind you like she had lost her mind when she told you to sit down so she could see when it was 17-10 and you were cheering rabidly. Even more for remaining standing and driving her crazy.

And no, she wasn't elderly or anything else of the sort. Perfectly fine, she just wanted to sit there with her legs crossed and watch the game.

If she would've uncrossed them without panties on I would've gladly remained seated due to my asthma condition which requires me to turn around when administering my medicine to myself.

That was me. I must have been real drunk, thought I was at Commonwealth.

Good seat. That woman's husband must be rollin.

They were at least dressed as they were.

First time to ever get to sit over there. My boss swapped seats with me so he and his kids could sit closer to a buddy of his and his kids. First time I'd ever see a guy wear a sport coat to a football game that wasn't a fraternity pledge.

After the game I called and told him I needed a raise so I could afford the donation for those. :)

That's so awesome about the OP. I watch a fanbase like Georgia's today and I don't think anybody in the crowd sat the whole second half. I hate seeing our fan base turn so lethargic.

That's because a lot of them were walking out.

We were making noise even into the fourth quarter. The sit-downer "epidemic" is really overblown honestly.

It's quite immature to praise someone for being rude to a lady.

Oh give me a break with this crap. Tell her to get of her sanctimonious butt and cheer. I feel its quite rude for this supposed "lady" to think its her right to order everyone to do her bidding. Though by the way it sounds you must be in this same category.

i was @ the game and that certainly was not the case. we had some hit the exits when we were down 2 tds but unlike your vols we actually had the nads to comeback and make it a ballgame....without 6 starters in the line up. see you on Oct 9th....you'll have that early exit thingy down pat by then.

I would say that you were being defensive . . . but we know that nobody has seen defense at UGA in several years.

i concur....we're a work in progress at best.....on both sides of the ball. i will say this....we have a lot of problems but one of them isn't playing QB. Murray is a gamer.

I will say that despite the constant claims of what I hear about the big money section, other than this lady it was quite loud and not quite the country club atmosphere many make it out to be. Heck, even she cared. She just wanted to sit.

Yes. Murray is a badass the way he carved up the OVC defense that Arky trots out there. Add yo' that the literal clown stomping he put on SCe and...hold up...

Late in the 1st half when Florida was driving and everyone (most) were standing and making it loud, I felt a tug on my shirt. I turned around to see an older lady telling me to sit down. In the off chance she had some kind of condition where she couldn't stand, I slid over and bent down even further on the rail in front of me. When halftime rolled around, her and her husband, neither of which had not stood once during the 1st half, STOOD FOR THE ENTIRE HALFTIME SHOW. At this point, I knew I wouldn't be accommodating her request anymore. The first Florida possession of the 2nd half, I feel an even harder tug. I turn around to have the husband tell me "if you don't sit down I'm going to throw you over that rail." I told them that if they could stand up for a halftime show, they could stand up for football, and I again turned back around. The next play the man literally grabs me by the shoulders and tries to throw me down. I guess he overestimated his strength because I didn't move. At this point I have to defend myself, so I start to get in his face. A guy about my age stopped us. The old man tells me he's going to "knock the hell out of me if I don't sit down." So that's 2 threats and him physically trying to throw me down, yet after this he tries to go tell on me. I see the usher get a look of "you have to be kidding me" and he just kind of shrugs his shoulders. Five minutes later, before the 3rd quarter even ended, they left along with a good number of our other pathetic Vols fans. Everyone around me jumped to my defense once they left. I told them the only reason I didn't knock him out if because if a cop sees an old man and a younger guy, he's automatically going to assume I started it. They all assured me they would have been witnesses, but I didn't feel like that at the time. I was in X3 and yes, the couple was the stereotypical country club/Farragut/our **** don't stink/we're better than everyone else type that has been mentioned several times on here about sitting and staying quiet like they're watching a movie. So I guess after reading all these threads about Florida fans being the worst, but experiencing this along with the majority of our stadium being empty halfway through the 4th, I'm almost feeling like we have a shot at worst fans.
