For everyone making the statement that they or other fans weren't coming because "(insert b.s. excuse here)", the true fans were in that stadium in the cold and rain for Fulmer's last game. The true fans DID NOT sell their seats to 30,000 Bama fans this season. The truth is that "UT fans" will come out of the woodwork and start showing up again when we consistently win games, and probably not again until that occurs.
Taking away 2,000 seats is no big deal when we haven't consistently sold out the stadium in several years.
