Stadium Attendance

I couldn't even get $10 a ticket for lower bowl/seatbacks. I just wound up setting them on a trashcan outside the stadium. No idea if someone picked them up and used them.

That is the reason I stopped buying season tickets in 1992. You could not give them away most of the time.

Our stadium is not over built. It is over priced.

if you feel that way now just wait until we start winning championships again. Prices aren't ever going down

I've been impressed with the student sections enthusiasm, but why in the world can they not sell all the student tickets? There was hardly anyone in the student seats in the upper level, just tons of empty seats.

They actually do sell almost every student ticket, its just that none of the students, myself included, ever want to sit in the upper. So even if your ticket tells you to go up there, no one does, most just find a buddy and cram down into the lower.

I was pretty dissapointed when the attendance was announced. 96 I think. I know it was Halloween and people wanted to spend time with family and that is a great reason not to go, and I know that part of that is cuz USC returned some tickets due to the rock slide, and heaven forbid it was raining. but IMO there is no reason why for an SEC game NVM the fact it is on ESPN, that the attendance be under 100,000. I know there had to be some people without kids that wanted to go. I can see it for a no name team, but an SEC night game? just my opinion, but with as hard as they play i think we can support them better. Not ripping every1 who didn't go I know distance for some people and money, I'm jus talking about people who are normally there.

Pouring down rain in the cold weather. I was there but we also have to remember that SCjr returned 4,000 tix.

Let it be known that regardless of rain, hail, sleet or snow, we WILL be at our games... if we had of missed last nights game, we'd be having major regret today... being miserable is always better when you got a big win under your belts........even a rock slide wouldn't keep us away, there are other ways around to get to where you need to be, Neyland Stadium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was loud in the first quarter, but pretty dead in the 2nd and third quarter. The UCLA game was much louder than this game. Also Georgia.

Yeah, because it was a snoozer. When you add nothing but punts to cold rain, people tend not to be as enthusiastic.

I don't think people who weren't there fully appreciate how miserable the weather was and how unprepared half the crowd was. A lot of people didn't even have rain gear since every weather forecast and radar said the rain was going to end way before kickoff.
