Don't tell anybody, it's a secret, but Butch Jones is pulling in the best recruiting class in the country and one of the best we've ever seen here...... it's a secret, but in another year or two this class is going to be unbeatable. If you want to be on the best team in the country you better get your azz to UT. Don't bring no drama and don't bring no baggage though, because you will be yanked off the field by a WELL SPRING of smarter, more commented team players.

committed.

Meaning they would rather be football players then thieves and drug addicts who like to beat people off the field.

And you are supposed to keep this as a whisper for now.

This new iPhone is killing my vibe. loL

The more support CBJ receives from Fans and School, his recruiting classes are going to be awesome. No more the days when Bama and Florida or whoever will think they can win with very little effort. Tennessee is and will remain relevant. Not saying Championships, I am saying they can't look past UT going forward. UT will be able to beat anyone on any given Saturday or Bowl. As everyone know, just because you have a GREAT team (Peyton years) there is not guarantee of a championship, but no one is going to take UT lightly.

Go Vols!!!

UT will need to sign five or 6 4/5* players out of the last 7 slots to make a run at a top 5 class on any of the recruiting sites.

Maybe that isn't what the OP meant... but if their average ranking continues as it has been to this point... this class will rank somewhere between 10-15. And so far, the very serious issues at LB have not been addressed.

I was looking at the roster a few moments ago. It looks so bright that I have to wear shades.
N.F.L. draft 2018: Wiggins, Kendall Vickers, Coleman Thomas, Brett Kendrick, Jashon Robertson, E. Wolf, Trevor Daniel...
Juniors: Jennings, T. Kelly Jr., McKenzie & Tuttle.

What a FREAKING draft class from U.T.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you are NOT saying Championships BUt if you have been following sports for very long, you know that luck has a lot to do with winning championships.
If we have a good team; meaning, not an "I" or "ME" team, then anything can happen.
Look at luck from 2016: New England played Pittsburgh in the regular season with Ben being on the bench. Then they played Pittsburgh in the play offs with Bell on the sidelines with a pulled hamstring. then the luckiest catch of all of NFL history was make by Edelman to pretty much seal the game.
Do you see the luck that was present in order for them to win?? They were prepared and had no injuries in key positions of the team and then luck was mixed in the equation and they won it all.
The same thing can happen to U.T. We are headed in the right direction.....

There is no such thing as "luck". There are decisions and actions with unknown consequences... and the providence of God.

Luck is the notion that there are causeless effects.

UT can have a very good season if they've resolved the problems that caused the Vols to have above average injuries for the past 3 years. Not luck. Just decisions that move the probability of success in your direction.

But I thought Butch was going to Ole Myth according to Dennis Dodd of cbs. (He must REALLY need internet clicks on his stories!)

Yeah, it's all luck. Tell that to Saban! It does SOMETIMES DEPEND ON HOW THE BALL BOUNCES via Clint Stoerner's fumble. But, You have to be stacked and well coached in the SEC to be in a position to take advantage of the way the ball bounces at times. Otherwise, luck has nothing to do with it and has nothing to do with it 95% of the time!!!

I don't believe in TEAMS of DESTINY when a team out there dominates you on both sides of the ball. That is what Bama has been doing a lot lately. It isn't luck. Bama having the number 1 recruiting class 8 of 10 years on Rivals with the other two years being 2nd and 5th in the country ISN'T LUCK EITHER!!!
