I know it's an opinion piece but it's odd that Texas A&M didn't make the list. They purchased the number 1 recruiting class last year and outbid us for the number 1 player who was from Tennessee. That's not ambitious enough to crack the top 5?

Now hang on one minute. Jimbo stated that all of those recruits simply wanted to play for A&M....

A&M was ahead of the curve. If the rumors are right Spyre has about 6-8 million dollars more to spend on this years class than what A&M spent on last years class. A&M better make the most out of that class, because everyone’s catching up in the NIL game. I doubt they sign the number 1 class again going forward. More competition now.

Ahh depends who u ask honestly..They absolutely paid for recruits no way u sign that class out the blue like that..As for the 5star Nolan in our backyard he technically ain't even from this area, and word is we didn't step into the Nil game heavy til after February and past crap blew over.Im not sure on Nolan based on what we know and how certain things went down they prob just decided it was better to move on.As for perception would have been a great add but down the road its anyone guess how that kid turns out.

Well now we know why Saban is so upset. Could be the beginning of the end of the Bama dynasty.
Bama's NIL program has been going on for decades, just behind closed doors. Bammer government is even involved. It's why NCAA won't sniff em. The whole state will go after NCAA if they do.

They will be fine. Saban just doesn't like that others are now doing it.

This team is gonna be an absolute ISSUE for opponents next year and beyond. It like the perfect storm of getting the right coach in place at the moment we’re allowed to officially use money to give him all the players he asks for.

Interesting. I wonder if someone opposing NIL after reading.? I won’t mention names

How could anyone hate NIL at this point when it comes to Tennessee. Where you want to admit it or not, thanks to NIL and Spyre Sports in particular it has allowed CJH to knock 2 to 3 years or more off this rebuild.
When you look at Nico and the number of 5 star guys we are in on. If you don't think NIL is a big reason for that then your being naive. I'm not saying it's 100% the reason but I'd say its 75% of getting some of these guys to visit.
