It looks like Spurrier is advertising some sort of homosexual pornography website on USCjr background thing behind him. I didn't figure that the athletic website was cocksonline. Did anybody else notice this? :eek:lol:

Anyone else think he was acting strange?? I thought he appeared to be distracted or something. Could just be me because I haven't listened to Spurrier much...lol

Spurrier seems....sad. Like an old man who knows the prime of his life has passed him by. Whatever part of him that used to be Tennessee's enemy seems all but gone now. Hell, Monte is five years older and he seems to have five times the energy I see from Spurrier. I still try to hate him....but all I seem to feel now is pity.

Wow. He is all over the place in his answers. Almost seems like rambling. I thought it was funny that he said Fulmer called him. I'd love to have been in on that conversation.

I love how ever since Spurrier has been in SC, he's never been afraid to slam his boys in a press conference..."ah, we don't play good"...or..."he's really not a good football player, but I gotta work with I got until I can get some of my boys in here"...I just think that's hilarious. This video was a different side of the Ol' Ballcoach.

Shew I thought it was just me! I cracked up when he said "what was the question?" and just how many times did he say ummmm ummm? I watched both videos and can't remember now what the question was but one time his answer had nothing to do with the question asked. I think he needs a hug! lol

I think spurrier is the man. Its unfortunate the way things played out. He is a Tennessee boy and wanted to play for ut but noo, he didnt fit into our style offense back in the day. "he was too small". So he goes to uf and wins the trophy. Can't blame the guy for wanting to whip up on ut. And lets be honest. It wasnt hard to scheme against us.

Spurrier doesn't have the fire anymore: It's hard to hold it when you've been at the major-college level for a long time--you get burned out. Ten years is about max--that's how long he was at florida, kicking everyone's butt. Look at Fulmer--he was total toast for years, making the same dumb comments game after game, year after year. Spurrier's done a decent job at south carolina--but it's hard to recruit with the big boys there unless you are obsessed and energetic, and that isn't spurrier any more. All that said, he could easily beat us this saturday. He beat us when he coached Duke--and many time since then.

I can see it now in ten to fifteen years. Spurrier and Fulmer having rooms next to each other at the SEC Coach's retirement home. Sorta like "Grumpy Old Men" Fulmer pours salt into Spurrier milk at dinner. Spurier glues Phil's bedpan to the floor, etc.
