Sorry BPV, I thought this was a message board! I didn't realize that we were being graded on structure/person.
Who said I had to cross a state line? Do you honestly believe that there are no "bammers" in TN.
Hey Guys. This is my first post on here. I usually just kinda browse the site to see whats on the minds of the Vols faithful. I realize that this is a Vols site so everything is biased in yalls opinion just like at Tidesports or whatever. But to call us cheaters over this is assinine. Is it against the rules, yes. Is holding, yes. Does that mean everytime the Tide or the Vols holds and it is not called we should turn ourselves in. No. And actually, there is a good chance we stole the idea from Florida because they are on film for doing the same thing in the SEC Championship Game last year. So anyways, I hate the Vols like yall hate the Tide but come on and be a little reasonable.
If this happened at UGA, nobody cares, but tey don't have the NCAA making nearly unbelievable comments about their cheater culture. This would actually be an illegal procedure penalty and 5 yards.
I understand though, you are rivals and especially now your going to be grasping at all you can.
You touted your spelling and tossed Mensa in, not me. I came in after that silliness.

I've read some of your old posts, good stuff. I like both states. I just like to get on the boards and antagonize a little, kinda makes the day go quicker. I wonder how many folks looked at the posts and asked themselves "what's a Mensa?". Anyway, good luck Sat. let's hope for a well played, injury free game.

This logic is why Bama has it's proud tradition of NCAA violations.
Here are some other things that are equivalent to holding in the game:
players selling crack outside the stadium
players selling textbooks
players being paid
players going on fishing trips with boosters
etc.
I mean come on, these are simply infractions - basically the same as having an OL player come out of his stance early...
While were at it, here are some other ideas for the Tide:
Fill the ball you kick with helium for extra long kick-offs and FGs
Give you players steroids
Put drugs in the opponents Gatorade
Use extra long cleats
You get the idea - it's all good sportsmanship. It's all part of the tradition of "class" from the Wimberton of the South
but the tape thing is the same as holding or illegal procedure, a yardage penalty in the game if saw and called by the referee.
