I'd love to land Butch Davis. He already has UNC turned around w/ a bunch of sophomores and freshmen. Just imagine what he could do at a school w/ some history.

Paul Johnson? Some triple flexbone option to Tennessee! He has done amazing things at Navy and in his first year at Georgia Tech.

Davis is too old.....we need YOUNG blood on the hill.
forget any coaches that are in their 50's or older.
and forget ANY coach that is in their 1st or 2nd year at the school they are at when they are WINNING....why give up a program on the rise to come to a rebuilding school?

Who wants him anyways? He hasn't done anything of recent. Saying that though, coaches do lie....ask Saban.

Yeah, with the Dolphins still playing their season, he is going to tell the media he is looking at other jobs? Knowing Saban, he probably was not all that interested in the Bama job while he had games left to play with the Dolphins. When the season ended, he took the job. The media and some stupid fans who have nothing else to cry about want to make such a big deal about nothing. Have you heard Saban's comments on Fulmer, BTW? He is nothing but a class act. He did not tell us what was on his mind out of respect for his team and his organization. Give me a break, sour grapes.

Spurrier's burned out, and doesn't like to recruit. He'd rather play golf. He'll have 3-4 loss teams for a few more years at USC, then head back to the links full time.

I say we go get Saban away from the bammers....bet he would love the chance to bring UT to the top again...:p

Spurrier would be ok too...$$$ talks, and I think we could have either of those if the right amount was offered.

on second thought, never mind...I would rather have Gruden, Cowher, or Davis. :dance2:
