On finebaum just now
Said calm down. Tennessee will be ok
2 months from now it will just be about recruiting and all

And said he likes Mike Leach
But what he said about UT being ok, I would not get my hopes up based on the guys they are offering the job too, and the ones they seem to be ignoring

That only applies if you get a coach who can actually recruit. For example, Sumlin can recruit very well....Doeren could not....big difference.

I’ll be much calmer in 2 months if our next coach pulls a top 10 class rather than a top 30 class v

Spurier's coming back to coach us?

Personally, I have always thought Lane was like a younger Spurier. Think about how Steve would have trolled UT and FSU back in the day had twitter been a thing...He would have been followed by everybody!

I think Kiffin is hurting his chances now because of all the twitter traffic. He might get a called if he shows a little maturity...

Earlier, the OBC was liking Tee.

Growing old, gracefully.

TN won't be ok until there is real change at the top. We will continue to make decisions based on the same principals and beliefs as we have, and are now, and we will get the same results

Define "ok."

OK = fielding a decent team that will win a few games?
OK = competing for championships?

UT is many years away from competing for championships. It is a ground up rebuilding project. WHEN and only IF the fan base can come to terms with this the program can proceed to improve.

Oh stop it!

Young Spurrier minus the 7 SEC titles, two national title game appearances, national title, pioneering offenses in the SEC, Heisman Trophy winning Qb, dozens of SEC and national offensive records, all time winningest coach at two SEC schools and place on the Mount Rushmore of coaching in the SEC.

Yeah, minus all that, he’s Spurrier.
