Spurrier leaves presser

When your team blows a double digit lead the first time...heartbreaking.

then it happens against Kentucky...ehhh

then again to Tennessee tonight...I'd be mad too

in reality, he sounds like he's finished.

I don't think the OBC is finished. He doesn't strike me as the type to quit after a bad season, and they have a top 5 recruiting class at the moment. The SEC East has 3 teams in the top 5 now (recruiting 2015), so the East may be trending up. I hope he does leave, but I don't think he will.

He may be undefeated all time against him. He looks like he wont be coaching much longer.

Yes, you certainly can dare to say that.

TRUTH oftentimes hurts lots of people but it's still the truth!

All of us Constitutional Conservatives know that, LOL!

Fact is that buTch is now 2-0 against USCe and the Old Ball Coach and I LOVE it!

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

If they ran off Spurrier they would head straight into the ditch. Who would they hire next out of the retirement home, Bobby Bowden? Barry Switzer?

Spurrier is the best offensive coach in modern SEC history. Here is a guy who completely rewrote SEC football records in the 1990s, and instead of being stubborn, he changed with the times.

South Carolina should realize just how lucky they are that they have a coach who schooled Fulmer in his prime and ended the career of numerous UGA ball coaches.

You know many championships we would of have if he wasn't the head coach for UF!!! **** You Steve Spurrier!!!!

As much as I hate Spurrier, I love him for what he has done to the sport. He is entertaining and irritating at the same time but tonight we ripped his heart out and he needs a whoppie cushion bad.

I'd love to see Spurrier on the SEC Network throwing out jabs next season. He is an equal opportunity commentator as far as that goes too...nobody, no team off limits.

I agree. Spurrier is a fellow East Tennessee boy and he's got the dawg in him. He's not going to go out on a season as bad as this. I think He's going to be around a few more years and we're gonna have to put up with that dad gum offense a little bit longer.

I'm sorry, I just can't help but like Spurrier.

I do, too! One of my favorite coaches! I love playing SC now because we actually have a chance to beat them (unlike Spurrier's old Gators) and twisting the knife feels sooo good. But coaches like him make the SEC stronger and more interesting. Imagine how dull it would be around here without him.
