Would everyone agree that these 6 coaches, in no particular order, are the top half in the SEC? Goodness, we've got some monsters around here now.....every single one of these guys has won at least one SEC title, and 4 have won a national title.....without mentioning Tubb's snubbing in 04.

Think we play some football in the Southland:crazy:  ?

Yes, I believe those 6 are the clear top 6 right now. Ears is the 2nd most overrated coach in the conference, and he wasn't snubbed in 2004.

Not only is the above true....but it sucks even more that Fulmer is clearly #4 out of those 4. In truth, he is probably a clear #6 out of this pack.

Not a clear 6. He's probably 5th. Tuberville has 1 SEC title in like ... 12 SEC seasons.

sadly if he wins one in the next three it's no better than what we've had.

Actually though I would not count the Ole Miss years against him as that is not a program on the same level as Auburn.

Just wondering who the most overrated coach you mentioned is.

Bobby Johnson. He's done no better than the former coaches at Vandy if you look at his overall record.

That's VolinArizona's overrated guy. I'm sure he'll come along and explain in greater detail

With Phil's knowledge of pushing people around and body weight he would be tought to beat. Though if it went past round one he'd be screwed.

I actually think Johnson is a good coach. I don't like him now that he is at Vandy but I went to Furman's football camp when I was in high school and was recruited by them and he was a very good coach IMO.
