Spring Xbox Live Update May 19th-30th

Microsoft will launch the spring update in waves starting May 19th and ending May 30th. Aside from offering support for the -new Microsoft disc format- which will "be used in future game titles releasing later in 2011" -- the spring system update will enable PayPal support on the console, extending the payment option "to new international markets." PayPal will be "the only user facing feature" of the update. Also Avatar Kinect is slated to be released at the same time on the 27th.

I agree, the poker is neat for a few days, but overall a poor replacement.

Never understood why they canned 1 vs 100.

Just a heads up that some older systems aren't compatible with the new format. They can tell whether your system is one that can't read it over Live. Apparently, it is a relatively small number affected. They will replace those systems with a new 250gb xbox for free.
