Spring Visitors

Curious about your list:

About your RBs you like Morton over some of our other targets like Corn Elder?

The QBs too? We don't need two in this class

WR position? No James Quick(one of the best WR prospects in the country

DE/LBs: no Jason Hatcher at all?

DBs: Donnie Miles Jr. but no Jalen Ramsey, Kendall Fuller, or Vonn Bell?

Curious about how you put this class together. This class of yours is alright but could end up a lot better realistically.

That is from watchin their film and seeing what I like. Hence this is my list of what I would have liked to have seen. Then put your list together. I like to have QBs. Depth is a great thing. What do we know past Bray? Worley beat MTSU and Peterman has not taken a snap.
Certain positions should be recruited every year. Even if it is not the nations top player you are going for you need someone there to take snaps. To think that we are not going to recruit a QB if we had the place for one would be a little dumb, no offense.

Yes I like Morton as a number 2 back in this class. I would love Kamara. Did you not see him in post also?

Yes there are other prospets out that are good. I have a cushy job and have time to look alot of videos out there on kids that I like. I like the kids I listed the most. If you have a list that you would love to land after this class then post it. These are simply the ones that I have gotten to watch videos on and I like what they have to offer. This class of mine that you say is alright would be a top class on every recruiting site if it were possible to do.

I watch a lot of film too. I agree with most of the list except where I stated. We should only take one QB this year plain and simple. Worley isn't just terrible and Peterman will be a good player. Plus it's not a lock that Bray leaves early.

There are quite a few backs better than Morton. Hope he gets a chance at the next level somewhere else. You don't take a No.2 back you take two or three No.1 backs and let them fight it out. Taking only two wrs in this class would be a mistake we're still not as deep as people think.

Not having Vonn Bell on your list makes me wonder big time about your eye for talent. Miles Jr. over Bell is laughable period. Not having Ramsey on the list is hilarious too. I don't know what you're looking at or how your grading guys but I would love to see what your system looks like and then look at the prospects with your system.

Everyone can post here without trying to punk each other out.. It doesn't make you look more wise by trying to make someone out to be dumb

Nobody is trying to make him look dumb. I'm just wondering how he could leave Bell off but put Donnie Miles on the list? Or what did he see in Morton that makes him better than Corn Elder, Ford, Dye, Derrick Green, or any of the other big time backs we're recruiting. Just curious to what he's looking at. Because this list just doesn't add up at certain positions.

Everybody has there own opinion on all the recruits. If you look at Morton on film he is just as impressive as Corn,Ford,Dye,and Green. Morton actually finishes his runs better than they do. All of them would be a good pick up for the vols,so you can't say one is better than the other. I know you won't a back that can run between the tackles and then have that break away speed and from watching him in person I know Morton has everything it takes to be a great back at the next level. I know if we don't pick him up and he goes to another SEC team we will regret it every time we have to play him.

I'm not getting into this man. Hope the kid lands somewhere.

I disagree about Morton and some others but don't think your opinions are " laughable"... U wont find the tenth leading rusher in the state of tn with an sec offer usually, unless it's vandy , ky, or ole miss

I don't think someone is crazy for making a list of who they actually think we could get rather than some dream list that we will not even come close to landing. Just because a person lists mid grade RBs is not reason to question their list. Top grade RBs are not taking a very long look at Tennessee of late.

The same folks who have their lists loaded with top 4-5 star kids are the same ones who were crying on NSD saying how the recruiting services were screwing us and our once "sure top 5-10 class" had fallen closer to top 20. We have to start looking like a team who can compete in the SEC before the best recruits really consider us.

Long way to go. No BB games so assume it was not really that big a deal. Most all Jr. Days have been completed (for now). Dependent upon attrition this is gonna be a smaller class so I think we're gonna have to be very careful on commits. OL and DL along with a couple of 3-4 type LB's shud be a priority. 2-3 WR's, 1-2 RBs, 1 QB, 2-3 DB/Safety types. Think I read class is only going to be 14-20 dependent on attrition.

Totally disagree on Morton. He's a good high school running back as are most kids that are considered D-1 prospects but there are clear differences I see between him and all the others you mentioned. There's a reason elite schools have offered all of the other guys at this point.

MH don't argue with them. It's pointless I hope the kid gets an offer from a D-1 school though.
