Your post was also one of opinion, not fact. Just a counter-opinion to the one you responded to.

I do partially agree with you, in that LSU tends to reload on D with talent from their in-state base, E. TX, S. Miss, etc.

But to say that we don't have anywhere close to their talent is an unsupported opinion. If you are basing on past production, or lack thereof, one has to point out that the guys here now are not the exact same set as the guys present and on field last year, and that's true for both Vols and LSU. :question:

This is based on actually going to and watching the games last year. Also, having been a fan since the mid 60s, I know what a great team looks like. This ain't it.

You are basing all of you hopes on unproven players and in the SEC, that's not a good bet. Again, I appreciate your optimism and I hope you are right, but you have nothing to base your thoughts on. I sure hope you are right. The 1967 team sure overachieved with a lot of unproven talent on defense!!!
