Real potential imo. If they stop coaching them hard, that’s when the players should be concerned that the coaches have “given up” on them
Agreed. The one JUCO player keeps coming up almost every practice as drawing special attention. There's a message there, JUCOs are going to be expected to contribute immediately and if they can't or won't their comfort level on and off the field will be no bueno methinks. Hope the youngster steps it up.

It will be hard for him to "be quick to read and release" if our receivers don't get open any better than they did last year. If he expects to find an open man quick, then he will be optioning to the run often. That makes the difference in him and what we saw last year (holding too long) just a better runner. (Hopefully)

If Jennings returns and stays healthy, you'll see him open regularly as when he's defended one on one, most often the guys on him will be in for one play and then having to leave the field due to their facemask getting busted. He is a nasty physical dude on the gridiron, few DBs will want to cover him, many will be tying shoes and tripping rather than taking him on physically. DCs will have to double him and that means others will be open early especially. Hopefully our younger receivers will take note of how physical Jennings gets this season is my prediction.
