Spring practice is here!

Tomorrow is the day! I'm excited to see and talk some football. Although, the timing seems like a bit of a tease since next week is spring break.

Besides the obvious quarterback stuff, what are you excited to see in this spring?

I always enjoy reading the over-reactions in both directions.

One year Jacob Carter ( I believe ) was the next great UT receiver.
One year Bray went 3-30 ( or something as bad ) during a bad weather O&W game.

In reality, it will be good to read and see the reports. All I really care about are no injuries!

Are all the scholarships in place? Do we still have some "yet to be awarded", or will it depend on "cuts" based on training etc.?

I always preferred a Friday off versus a Monday. Off Monday turns Tuesday into Monday while having Friday off turns Thursday into...well, you figure it out...I'm outta here.

I'm excited to see Deangelo Gibbs.
Was excited to see...but they didn't put him in the bowl game and LWS said if they did play him, it'd only be for STs. Maybe he just didn't have enough experience...hopefully didn't mean he was that far behind the 2nd rotation.

Still excited to see him anyway, but I'm now thinking he may be 2nd team, at least to start.

Many scholarships aren't really finalized till the Fall. That's when we really have to be down to 85.

Gibbs was not eligible to play last season and that included the bowl game.

That’s a lot of weird take...all at once.

Looking for guys to emerge at WR, LB and S. Harrison Bailey will get a ton of attention and I can’t wait.

Who takes the lead at WR and how many guys demonstrate the ability to play around Henry T at LB.

Interested in the QB and RB position battles. Better OL play will help both positions.

I also want to see if anyone takes a step forward at OLB to be a big time pass rusher.

I think DL, DBs will be solid.

Ready to see Henry T & Jaylen McCollough take over the defense starting tomorrow. Also want to see if Fields and Beasley can take the next step and join the rotation, both players have tons of potential. Fields should be even better with being further removed from knee surgery. Kid looked pretty good in limited action.

Interested to see if we have the playmakers on both sides of the ball to compete for an SEC East championship. How well will our 3 All-American candidates (Smith, Cimaglia and Henry T) lead our team through the spring. Can both Chandler and JG have breakout Sr seasons?
