I'm thinking it will be a good turn out this year. We are thinking about going to the game and rafting the ocoee

Anyone able to come to the game needs to be there. Let's show Coach Pruitt what kind of fan base he has behind him.

Yes the water temp doesn’t change much throughout the season. Water from the bottom of the lake doesn’t change that much. Hopefully the temp outside will be warm for you all and it won’t feel that bad.

Sat April 21st confirmed. TBD on kickoff. We get a heads up early because I'm on multiple alumni councils. Alumni can also pay $50 to get into the boxes for the game with unlimited food and a locker room tour (used to walk all over but that changed after people messed with lockers). Also, look on Volstarter on Feb. 19th to fundraise local scholarships for Vols enrolling this fall.

I would be very surprised if there are not 60,000 fans at the spring game.
Coming off the worst season in history? CJP might pull some people in to see what he is shaping Tennessee into but I would be amazed if more than 40000 show up.

Didn’t UGA almost fill their stadium for Kirby Smart? I think they paid a lot of money for entertainment to help with the draw. Yup looked it up. 93k in 2015. Don’t see that happening in Knoxville.

Coming off the worst season in the history of UT football they will be lucky to get 40k fans there for the spring game. And I can’t believe they’re raising tickets prices again for the 2018 season

You want to sell some of those $50 tickets? That would be a great wedding present

Last year the crowd may have been down because of the ferocious threatening weather.

But otherwise, it's pretty much hope springs eternal every year. A fresh new season.

If you are a fan, you are a fan. If you are "meh" about it, that's not the definition of being a fan.

I expect a good crowd.

I agree with this. "Fan" is short for "fanatic" and we forget all of the negative connotations of that word such as unreasonableness tendency toward violence, bigotry, destructive zeal, myopia, etc. "Meh" has described my mood for about four years now.

And don't conveniently forget the positive connotations, such as, it's my team no matter what, and you can depend on me to be there.

I'm gonna drive up from Louisiana for the spring game like I always do; hope to see you there. :hi: :loco:
