Spring game won't be televised

I cut the cord a few months ago. We've kept youtubetv for our Rokus. I bought a firestick at Christmas and started trying IPTV services. I started with Hydrogen TV and am now trying Game Master IPTV. My internet connection isn't even great. I get around 4,000 channels from the US and other countries... including most of the ESPN+ stuff for less than $15.

I'm thinking pretty hard about cutting the cable myself. Any links you can post that could help me find a better deal ? Sick of the Comcast bills. Thanks.

Bad news. SEC doesn’t seem to take Tennessee athletics seriously. I agree the programming guy could really do a better job. 24 hours a day broadcasting divided by 14 teams. Every team should get at least an hour of equal time a day and rotate the remaining ten hours.

I'm not very techie but have managed.

www.iptvhut.com has a list of 5 recommendations. So far so good with the two I've tried. I was a little skittish about billing since you are dealing with an unknown. But I've had no problems at all. If you go on youtube and type in "iptv services" you will get a bunch of videos.

This guy has some really helpful info. I haven't used any of the services he recommends but may before I settle on one to keep. If you subscribe to him, you'll find dozens of video reviews and helps.

I'm not familiar with official. This one is pretty cool though. It must be based off shore judging by some of the content that you typically have to pay extra for.

The only way I can see it working out is rotating qbs to both teams. Like JG starts with white, Maurer starts with orange for the first series of each team. Second series JG sits, Maurer goes to white and HB goes to orange. Then Maurer sits, HB white, Shrout orange. So on and so forth. Any other way somebody is getting the shaft in such a crowed qb room. Jmo

I think Maurer should start the first series and play the last. Just to prove he can finish a game.

Please let 1 of these guys come out on fire and let people see what it looks like having a winning QB under center for the Vols...a guy who can actually hit a WR...IN STRIDE...and put them in a position to score . A guy who doesnt wait until the WR is open by at least 2 steps (or get sacked) and then throw the ball 5 yards short and 2 seconds late so the WR has to stomp the brakes and hope to fight a would-be interception away from a DB...

Not the guy who has a losing record as a starter after almost 4 years on campus. Not the guy who got yanked for a true freshman QB last year in the middle of his junior season. Not the guy who has NEVER scored 30 points on an SEC opponent. Not that guy.

If you were excited to see JG trot out there to start games as UTs QB...you are in a very small minority. All the Vol fans that I know, and most who post here, felt a slight dread every time he trotted out there. No excitement knowing that we would never score even 30 points. No excitement knowing that a 300yd performance was all but impossible.

Hope springs eternal. We have a 4star sophomore and a 5 star freshman here this spring that want to bring excitement back to our passing game. It is time. Time to show what they are made of.

But you hold yourself up as some impartial VOL FAN when you never post about a DL recruit or OL or anything other than what affects your boy. It’s an insult to REAL people on this board with REAL ties. When Maurer’s gone through either end of eligibility or otherwise, you’ll be gone also. I told you a while back I was a long time lurker well before joining. Ive always enjoyed VN more than any others when researching fan bases for recruits. The fact that the fan base is down to earth and understood where they were as a program says a lot about how they would treat a player. Which is why I’m doing what I can to recruit any Florida players with an offer that I may know away from UF.
So yes, although for different purposes, you can say that’s a fact that I’ve been a fan prior to him.

That’s because I don’t know enough about them other than what I’ve seen. I’m learning as I go. So you’ll see more and more “variety” as time goes by. I don’t talk about things Im unprepared to debate. I now have a year worth of receiver video so now you see me comment on them. I’ve told you I’m working on other players and one just happens to be a DL. And I have commented many times on the o line as a unit because they work as a unit. Back before KTown had a problem with me he asked me what I found in my film study for the o line (2018). That’s where our problems began. I told him JG had 3 seconds vs Alabama that year and he didn’t believe me. He’s challenged me every since.

Taking you for your word, dating back to when? Who were the most active posters when you lurked? Going back to that status when Maurer leaves? If you feel your guy got a raw deal from Pruitt (as you sometimes indicate), will you still push for UT? You do know the difference between INTEREST and FANDOM, right? Personal example: I pulled for both the Colts and the Broncos respectively during Peyton’s time with each franchise. To the point of mock drafts and free agency moves to bolster his supporting cast...that kind of INTEREST. When he missed a season and they were positioned to draft another 15+ season franchise QB in Andrew Luck (thought at the time), I never faulted them...made perfect sense. Ended my intense interest in the franchise...but no hate. Similarly when Peyton pulled up lame at the beginning of what was to be his final season, I thought until the final game that they should stick with his backup, Brock Osweiler. That’s separating the fanboy from the objective observer for those keeping score. After his retirement, I have vague interest in the franchises but without grievances from perceived injustice to my favorite player. That’s where I see you. You might like the board, SOME of the posters and whatever else you said, but are you going to be able to replicate a young butchna who thought Sterling Henton was the next Tony Robinson and didn’t want Rhea County’s Andy Kelly to sidetrack that career arc? Kelly was better and I cheered accordingly with much vigor. You’ve subtly thrown out that I’m the same with Bailey as you are with Maurer, but you can’t claim that you were a Vols supporter long before the current QB crop and will be long after. One of us has that track record.

" TV " is in a really weird spot at the moment. Younger folks simply do not watch it anymore. They all stream it. Via laptop, taplet, or phone. The old days of antennas and or cable boxes are a thing of the past.
