Do the players sign anything before the spring game like they used to? I’m wanting to take my son and he loves Boo Carter. He’s getting a Carter 23 Jersey for his birthday and I know he would love for him to sign it.

Seems like there was some speculation from someone on here that he may switch numbers this next season.

Tennessee doesn't do a formal on-field autograph session anymore, a combination of logistical concerns and a NCAA rule change on what mandatory team activities counted against the 20-hour rule ended them. Sometimes players sign on their own at Gate 21 on their way out of the stadium, but your best bet is to go to an autograph session that the Volunteer Club books him at.

Fair question, but with NIL now, you may have a player sign something you want to keep forever, then that player will transfer to a different school before the season even starts. It is the world we live in now.

I’d wager that a bunch of them change numbers this season as they do every year - many pursuing the coveted single digit numbers. Of course that gets magnified in college where two players can have the same number as long as they aren’t on the field at the same time.
