The love affair this board has one the I formation is something I will never understand.

The only team to base out of I formation for the majority of the past 5-10 years is also the biggest underachieving team in the entire SEC, Georgia.

It's not very good anytime. You invite extra defenders into the box, and you limit your own passing game. That's a bad combination.

how about the fact that we want Kamara to be good to spare Hurd some wear and tear. if that is our thinking it makes little sense to have him as a FB.

But they call him a TE. But they use him more like a FB and he lines up more like a FB. A wing back would be more outside and closer to the line of scrimmage.

you have to figure in the coaching too,CMR is a good to great coach,but inconsistency does him in

a true I formation has the QB up under center,to me the running backs are hitting there assignments faster,instead of the quarterback receiving a deep snap and then the running backs taking off

the running backs hit the hole at full tilt,it would be nice to see them run it,the play still has it's place,but not as much these days

being spread out,seems to be the way to go


hmm we could put a tight end in as a full back and move a tackle to tight end and run Hurd or Kamara off of the full back as a tail back and get Cut back to call plays lol aaaah the good old days
