Dave Hooker was interviewing Hyams. Hyams made the statement that Lane Kiffin would WALK from Florida to Tennessee for the head coaching job.

Please take the following information with a grain of salt.


Dave Hooker was given information 30 minutes ago from someone he considers a reliable source in the media. According to this source, Mike Gundy WILL become Tennessee's next head coach.

Again, please take this information with a grain of salt. Hell, I'm taking it with a salt mine

In the Gruden thread someone said an “insider” at VQ said it was a one deal too.

But clearly the insiders have works so well for us so...

Hooker laughs at Tennessee on a regular basis. If Joe and Quake ever get rid of him I'll go back to listening to them. And I don't believe he has any kind of inside track.

Big if true but 102.3 isn't considered the most reliable driver of solid information. I listen to them since I live in Chattanooga.

Gundy bout to get a raise. Kiffin to the hill.

I tend to agree. I look at the starting of this thread for entertainment purposes only.

Oklahoma State people are sure spooked and debating who they will go after for their next HC. Butch Jones was not mentioned by the way.

This is not new! But we can't bring him in because the power brokers do not want him, I think the fans are divided on this one, but the most important reason we can't bring him in is Curries botched job their is no way we can justify hiring him. The person we need to hire is TMartin!

Gundy at 8 Million is gonna seem like a homerun compared to Schiano.

However, he would take this job because it’s out of OU’s shadow.

Kiffin wants and like it’s been said countless times, would crawl to this job to needle Saban. I don’t think Gundy has that ego about him to take on Sabans and Smarts of the conference.

I really don’t.

Was Greg Shiano? If not then ESPN better go on a 72 hour rant condemning them for not considering him.

Nothing you just said makes sense.

The big players are 100% on this, 80% of the fans I've seen are excited about the possibility and Curries botched job on Sunday has nothing to do with this. Sounds like you're agenda is solely Tee Martin, Mike Gundy is a HR
