I don’t like Pennington and I don’t really find his panel’s opinions relevant. I would care about the ex-players opinions, that’s about it. Keep in mind despite have a show that covers Tennessee athletics, Pennington hasn’t been on campus in 20 years to interview a player/coach. He takes shots at the fans and always thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room. He speculates ALOT without the facts. Can’t stand the guyIs anyone watching the Sportssource with John Pennington right now Sunday morning online or on WATE TV 6 out of Knoxville. Wondering what they are saying about Boo.
Why doesn’t he go on campus? Did he do something to bug the athletic department that he lost permission? I don’t live in Tennessee but have watched the show on YouTube. There is a young woman that seems to bring balance to the show. There is one guy who comes off as kind of snarky a lot.I don’t like Pennington and I don’t really find his panel’s opinions relevant. No speculation on whether he will remain on team?Just watched a replay so I could speed it up.He did say Boo was confronted by the team members and you can read into confront anyway you want.Later mentioned we’ve had guys fall on helmets before.Sounds like the rumor of an azz whipping did take place.
I remember him making fun of Vol fans who believed there was something to the Gruden talk. His mock southern accent making us seem like a bunch of ignorant hillbillies. Wonder if he’s ever admitted he was wrong about there being nothing to it.I don’t like Pennington and I don’t really find his panel’s opinions relevant. I find myself watching JUST IN CASE some new tidbit breaks and they at least reference it.Bad show. Took another turn downward when they added blowhard Ivans to the panel.
He does not seem to have problems getting and sustaining his sponsors. I won’t watch it live, but record it so I can blow by his blow hard segments. He does mix in some rational guests. Most boring sports talk show ever, and Pennington is an insufferable peacock. I've often wondered how he has managed to stick around as long as he has. He should be covering high school sports for a small town newspaper.
I only watch on occasion. I agree, some of his guests have some pretty good takes. Pennington sounds like he is just regurgitating stuff he's heard other people say.He does not seem to have problems getting and sustaining his sponsors. He even added a Saturday show….. beats me. 21/2 hours each week now.
