Now you can bet on sports here in Tennessee.

The good thing about this is I will bet on whoever Tennessee plays, that way if Tennessee loses I still win.

Draftkings is doing a lot of free bets and easy double-ups today for the NFL gameday.

What do you all think about sports betting in Tennessee?

Do we need to use promo code Milehigh_Vol for $50 credit?

Hopefully the casinos will follow. One in Pigeon Forge, one in Chattanooga, one in Nashville and one in Memphis.

I went with Draft Kings and it's been a disaster. First it wouldn't let me make a deposit then it did (I got an email saying the money had been deposited) but then there was no money in the account with which to bet. I was dying to put $100 on the Bengals catching 7 points against the Titans (the Bengals won it straight up). I'm going to tell them they owe me $200, my deposit and what would have been my winnings. Otherwise I'll sue their tail in General Sessions Court and by the time they're through, their attorney will cost them $5000 minimum.

I've always been able to play on Draft Kings in Knox. Daily Fantasy Sports.

I guess that's a little different than this sports book stuff.

Where are all these apps at?

I heard MGMBet was supposed to be a good one to try but it wasn't on the Google App Store and I couldn't find FanDuels sports book app either...

Really? I haven't had any issue. I've won 200 so far today.

As far as betting goes. I had a decent day I picked FD because they game me a $50 bonus credit. I hit on a nice little Vegas/ Miami parlay as well as a straight pick for Chase Elliott to win the race today ( which he did). I lost a few other plays but im still up on the day. I just need Dallas to cover tonight and we will be good.

I have a personal rule. I keep all of my betting in Vegas (which is in a different state) or on vacation if it’s available.

I like to gamble as much as anyone, but it is a losing proposition in the long run. Best for me to not do it very often.

Putting Draft Kings on their heels...I like it.

I like to see it happen and it will be good for the regions employment oppurtunities and growth. I also know it will change the area for the worse in many ways.
Yeah im nervous about some of the riff riff that will come to the area, but we need something like that. The economics it brings in will help over shadow the bad. One of my worries is will it be too big for the area and not survive?

Only way to win gambling long term is if you are the bookie! Remember that Vol fans :)

Sports betting has been happening for years in Tennessee. This just means that you can deduct your losses from you winnings and not have to pay income taxes on your net winnings, if you are lucky enough to have net winnings. Ig won't be long before we have the Cherokees floating gambling boats on the lakes. That would really cut into the number of going to North Carolina to gamble.

Would take a rewrite of the state constitution. Will be lobbied against hard by the Tunica owners, EBCI, and the Bristol VA ownership of if and when theirs passes on Tuesday.
I know it hasn't been announced because it's not legal yet, but is that everyone's assumption of what theyd like to add there?
