kiffin
"I would think in (Florida's) locker room there are some frustrated guys," said Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin. "Because they had high expectations about what they were supposed to do."

"There's a lot of pressure on these guys and I felt it in there," Meyer said. "I'd rather be on that end than on, boy, great job, we lost by 10."

The quote that will never get air time.

Wow... the last quote from Meyer says it all doesn't it? I hope UT consistently owns him in the next few years. Way to go Urban .... you're team full of future NFL players barely beat a team playing literally without a QB. Way to go. Tool.

WOW... Great article I love what Kiffin said "I would think in (Florida's) locker room there are some frustrated guys," said Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin. "Because they had high expectations about what they were supposed to do."..... hey we win even when we loose and what about "Kiffin, of all people, summed up the enormity of the situation without bluster or bravado, but with simple mathematics. Florida, he said, has been together as a team for four years. Tennessee has been together for three games.>

I love the last line not quoted here. He may be on that end sooner than he thinks. lol.

Great game by the Vols defense.

I love it. Appearantly we aren't the only ones who think the future is very bright for us :shades:

The media will pick up on Meyer's quote- this ride has just gotten started. Wait until the votes come in for the polls. I'm betting UF will hang on to #1, especially if TX continues to let TTech stay in the game, but I'm also betting that the reduction in the number of #1 votes they get will help fan the story a little higher.

Also, the quote just sounded so snotty, particularly compared to Kiffin's, that I don't think the press will be able to resist.

All that said, the choice between UF & AL for #1 is kind've like hemmarhoids or jock itch.

I like the quote "While Tennessee played without a quarterback". Exactly.

yep! ND will fire Weis this year and CUM will answer the call

I kinda don't want Meyer to leave. I like the rivalry and jabs between Kiffin and Meyer. I know we haven't beaten him, but we haven't had Kiffin either except for playing with Fulmer's scraps.
