There not bad at all but they have lost a lot of inside sources over the past years......

Walk up to any usher on gameday, ask them where your seat is, and you will have a better source close to the program than those guys.

Doc and quake are fun to listen to, but they have no sources, they really are no better than any of us on here. BUT, they know that and its kinda why I like them. They are more about the local sports teams than big stuff to do with Tennessee. These guys will devote as much time to high school wrestling as anything. They regurgitate things they hear, no more. They can be stupid though, they ran with the da'rick suspension thing and still report that Tyler bray smokes weed too much like its a fact from a press release.

102 in Chatt is a great station but everytime I hear "Home of the Georgia Bulldogs" I want to throw the da$n radio out the window! I understand Chatt borders GA but come on!

GBO!

A couple weeks ago one of them said, "Doctor Quinn, Medicine Ball" and I laughed out loud in my car. I can't even remember what they were talking about but the comment fit PERFECTLY!

And for what it's worth, I'd much rather listen to Doc say bama fans can't call in Tuesday cause their trailer rolled down the hill, then listen to a show that thinks they're doing real sports reporting. These guys will be the first to tell you they aren't.

Also home of UTC Mocs, and UT basketball....all part of the same holding company as 106.5, the Vol Network station in Chattanooga.

The Mocs moved to 105.1 over a year ago. 102.3 carries UT basketball and GA football. Their sister station 106.5 (100k Watts) carries UT football.

REALLY?
With all of the threads about Shannon coming to UT, you decide to start a new one?

In related news, Al Davis just fired Hue Jackson.

but its OK for 50 threads about what a dork Hyams is.

the guys in Chattanooga are 1000 times better sport talk radio than anything in Knoxville

I go to church with Dr B (Gary Haskew) and he is one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet.
