I don't know if you guys have seen this game, but this is one of the coolest ideas for a game I've ever seen.

IGN: Spore Preview

The creature creator comes out tomorrow, so you can go ahead and start creating your creature for the actual game in September. Anyone else excited for this game?

When I first read about it, I thought it was that you evolved through time, starting from a single-celled organism and then evolved into human-esque beings. Thought you would be able to build communities and have wars and whatnot. Looks boring now.

I found out about this game about 2 years ago. It's taking forever to come out. Will Wright is the man. This one has the potential to be absolutely huge.

I don't have anything against this 'game,' I'm just tired of hearing about it for the last five years. Seems like it's been delayed from release for at least a year. Now, they are piece-mail'ing the final product. I would imagine it's good...it's been in development for seemingly a decade. The hype machine is in full force trying to rope in casual folks like the Sims did. It's not for me but if other folks like it, that's great.
