I liked the post, but that's not a uniform patch.
That's a broadcast commercial in game where a sponsor pays the Vol Network for a particular feature of the game.
Hate to break it to you, but that's been happening since Mr. Ward was behind the microphone with First Tennessee Bank and a natural gas company being the ones I recall best.

Hell, even the local high school radio does this, "That's another Insurance Services 1st down.".

So who can the Vol Network get to sponsor a sack, 1st down, touchdown, field goal, red zone trip...there's cash awaiting.
