I spent $400 for 3 tickets to the Florida game and I still consider it money well spent. And I will, even if they lose. I am taking my granddaughters to see the checkerboard end zones and the Vol Walk, to see a team with a great history and tradition, something they will remember long after I am gone. I love the Vols, even when they lose, and they won't continue to lose. They are MY TEAM!!!!

How many feel like me who donate, travel, and buy the gear to see this **** on a weekly basis? I may make shirt that say " I spend to much money to watch you suck" and were them to the vol walk. Sorry everyone, this is a business. I am 10 years overdue on ROI.
You should put that money into bonds aren’t there some where you can double or triple your money in 7-8 years

How some of you just buy in over and over I cant understand. We have absolutely zero reasons to believe Pruitt can be a successful head coach. I'm not against the guy but there is literally nothing to go on besides this game.

I have been a Vols fan for a LONG time. To hell with this University and their ******** lies about wanting to be a NCAA college football contender. They have ruined a memorable childhood of consistent tradition and replaced it with mediocrity. Meanwhile, they pray on our loyalty to keep bringing in the money. It makes me laugh to think that I have cared about any of this. I have always dreamed about sharing a storied tradition with my kids and what Tennessee football really means. At this point, they would just stare at me like a hopeless moron that can’t even comprehend the game. What a disaster!! And before everyone tries to retaliate with, “Will Grier is a Heisman candidate, and their receivers are NFL worthy”, save it!! I would better appreciate an explaination of why this University is set on exploiting its fan base. A fan base that travels. A fan base that has a sarcastic amount of hope at the beginning of each season. A fan base that would fight for this this team like its a sibling being attacked. As fans, we have waited too long for something real. I guess the wait continues. I have feeling all this will continue and we’ll all realize at some point that this is as good as it’s ever going to get. We’ll realize that we are simply pumping money into a black hole of MEDIOCRITY.

I would love to see a sociological study of Tennessee fans that focuses on the interactions of primarily negative posters with their families, friends, and coworkers in their daily lives. Previous studies in other areas and on similar platforms suggest that the displayed negativity, short-sightedness, and intimation of self-destructive behavior is often reflected in areas of life outside of social media.

If the OP wants to see an ROI, maybe he should ask his English teachers for a refund; they failed him pretty damn hard.

Id like to find the drug dealers of people that cant see why some are always negative. This team sucks and has for the last decade.

Yeah yeah yeah, and I remember how many times I was called an idiot for projecting Georgia's success under Kirby Smart. Anybody freaking out over today's performance really doesn't understand this game.

I see the problem, you're the emotional type. Get your mommy to make you a Hot Pocket, maybe that will calm you down. o_O

Calls me emotional, knee-jerk reacts to one game.......pot meet kettle. You’re a real picture of rational thought.

If you think one game defines this team you need to take up another past time! Our QB play improved, we didn't turn the ball over, not many stupid penalties and I didn't see one player quit. That's enough to start building on in my book!

LMAO You're the irrational one Zippy, I defy you to find a single negative post I've made this entire day. Nobody signed a lifetime pledge to funnel money to VSAF or to pay for season tickets to watch mediocre football teams. Maybe another Xanax would help.

A boot up your ass might help you. Bitching about the team is negative. Don’t like the program.....don’t follow. Simple.

No drug, just a mindset that recognizes reality (no, this isn't the product we want; and no, the improvement likely won't be fast enough to meet expectations) but chooses to avoid negativity due to the proven physiological effects. I've survived two pulmonary embolii, septic shock and the loss of my right leg, MRSA in my chest port, MRSA in my left leg, and the near loss of my left foot to osteomyelitis. You can't choose which part of your life to apply positivity to.

I make the choice daily to acknowledge the difficult realities but to focus on the possible positive outcomes. I have too much to lose not to. I believe that those who approach reality from a consistently negative standpoint will find out too late that it provided them with no benefit, no enjoyment.
