The most strenous workout of my life occurred while in school at UT.
Start at Stokely Athletic Center
Run down Lake Loudon Avenue to Neyland Drive
Take Neyland Drive to Hill Street
Run up Hill Street to Main (Cumberland)
Main to Gay
Cross the Gay St. Bridge
Run up the steep old stairs behind the Shriner Building
Run up Mimosa Street to the very top of the hill and then back down the backside (there are two sets of apartment communities on the backside)
Run to Henley Street and over the Henley Street Bridge and take the loop to the right back down to Neyland
Neyland back to Lake Loudon
Lake Loudon to Todd Helton
Todd Helton to Neyland Stadium
Finish with 20 minutes of upperdeck bleachers in Neyland
This run is the only time in my life I have ever experienced a "runners high". Shortly after the Neyland bleachers, I had a fun little bout of vertigo, vomited a few times, and generally felt terrible for the next day.
