Big difference between a 300 lb lineman blocking a kick from behind the line of scrimage and a guy standing the the backfield in front of your kick! This has all been explained before. You don't have the success that Palardy has had without knowing what you are doing. If he gets the blocking, the kick is gone...they were not low kicks. It obvious that you know nothing about that part of the game. If the blocking was there, in both cases a field goal and xtra pt., the east would have had 4 more pts. than they did. He was alright. He got the job because Lucas Taylor had trouble fielding a couple. Oddly, Lucas Taylor got the job in 2005 because Hefney couldn't field a punt. I was never that confident in either of them.
