Special Teams Coach?

so if i'm keeping count, we've got one hire left to make...WR coach, right? with Adkins moving in to his position and Luke coming in to TE/recruiting coord.....who is going to coach special teams?

I know they said that Slade or Caldwell won't be doing it anymore...but who is ?

I think i like the hire of Luke...young guy, with a bit of a track record, SEC experience, already worked with CUT....should bring some excitement to the players since he's "been in the trenches".

But when are we going to get smart and get us a special teams guy, not a comittee...? Frustrating. :fool:

I keep hearing Dale Jones's name being thrown out as a possible ST coach. I don't know if they will hire one, but I think everyone agrees they definately need one.

yeah, i heard that too...he'd probably bring a good energy...and another orange blood....it'd just be nice to have that unit treated like it should be...1/3 of the game!

I saw somewhere a Tampa Bay Bucs guy mentioned for the position. I think he had Ole Miss connections as well. I'll see if I can find that.

The last I read, they were thinking about the coaching by committee thing again next year. Some people never learn.
