Here’s one thing that really gets me about the nimrods who claim the Apollo moon landings were faked.
If we had the ability to produce such good forgeries back in the 1960’s; why did we wait over 50 years to “go back”? We would have made plenty of fake trips since, especially as Hollywood special effects got better and better

I am not criticizing NASA, the astronauts, and especially not the engineers. Congress saddled them with ridiculous requirements and forced inefficient pork laden contracts. It is a testament to the excellence of NASA that they were able to make the whole thing actually work.

NASA budget NEEDED cut. Are you even close to aware what Artemis has cost so far?
Mistaking the size of a government agency’s budget to have any relation to what they need is a basic error of political understanding.

SpaceX and Commercial Crew have shown just how much more cost effective private companies are at producing space hardware. NASA needs to focus on what they are best suited to accomplish; research and interplanetary robotic probes.

(NASA’s Office of Inspector General estimates the cost of the Artemis Program has been $93 Billion through the end of 2025)

This proves you don't know anything about NASA or Jared Isaacman as he is IMO the best administrator they have had in probably 50 years.

He's been in their shoes as a modern day astronaut. He can fly around a dozen different aircraft including military jets, until the Artemis II launch he was the commander of the mission Polaris Dawn that held the furtherest away from Earth any human had been since the Apollo program.

He has also done a lot of good with his philanthropic donations to St. Jude and over the years has donated over $25M to US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville to help update it and modernize it. in fact his NASA Administrator salary goes directly to the Space Camp program.

You can say a lot about President Trump but his NASA Administrators have both been outstanding.

In his 1st term Jim Bridenstine helped push NASA to accept private space companies like SpaceX. He was key in implementing the SLS System and the Artemis program and directed that the next Lunar landers would be produced by private companies.

There is a whole bunch of NASA stuff that could and should be cut. Anything that is not focused off world (so to speak) should be a start.

Once Artemis IV is done all manned missions should be turned over to SpaceX. Maybe by then Blue Origin will also have a crew capable vehicle that's actually able to go beyond the Karmen line.
