I dont think there is overcrowding, only a debris issue. Musk said 11K satellites is like 11K people on Earth..odds of bumping into another human is remote, plus it is a much larger circumference than the Earth and has depth from hundreds of miles to geosynchronous orbit, like 22k miles.ah, ok. that makes sense.
the launching part I don't have any qualms with, less gravity, less atmosphere. but producing that much seems like a huge leap. especially just the logistical problem of launching that many, plus the overcrowding we are already seeing.
