Yeah I figured. Just the idea of being able to sit there for a relatively short amount of time and watch it happen would be cool.

I think we’re just about destined to explore space one way or the other. It’s part of the human condition to explore, expand, learn, and improve.

I don’t know if it’ll be government programs like NASA, private ones like SpaceX, or some combination of the two that really get things rolling. But eventually we’ll take those steps and start a new era of colonization, expansion, and innovation. It’ll be a fun time to be alive.

Hopefully we’re around to see the next big step towards that.

It will be interesting to see the missions this enables over the next few years. First launch from their new US launchpad is slated for a moon mission for NASA. They’ve also mentioned missions to Venus will be possible. Competition is good.
