Will beat UT. They have a very good rushing attack, and our D-line doesn't look like good in any way.

I got a feeling when the Southern Miss coaching staff watches the Cal game they are going to be excited. They are going to crowd the line and force Ainge to throw it downfield and take away the short dumps. On offense they will run it right at UT's defensive line.

UT may start the season 0-3.

aren't you forgetting that ainge is liable to throw for 350+ against them? like i said in another post, we're playing pac-10 style right now. southern miss might put up 21-28, but we'll score 35 at least.

We'll probably start 0-3. We might lose to Southern Miss but florida will destroy us.

would not surprise me at all to see Southern Miss beat us. We can't stop the run and if we decide not to show up, they'll run circles around our defense.

Fulmer lost on his birthday. That sucks! I think we kill Southern Miss and redeem ourselves for the terrible defensive play we had tonight.

Oh, shut up. The sky is falling. If Cal gets over their hump and beats USC, NO ONE will be ashamed of this loss. This message board is as pathetic as our defense sometimes. You have a right to your opinion, but Cal and Southern Miss and not exactly apples to apples... or apples to rat droppings.

They will get a massive amount of yards on the ground, but cant compete with our offense ( isnt it sad this thread even exists?)

2 TD's is being generous to southern miss.
Need to give everybody time to step back from the ledge...

Cal is a good team. I said it all last year that they are good, and we didn't get a chance to play the real Cal. Well, we did. They are legit when the lights are on. We lost to a good team with good speed, probably faster than most we will face all year.

We are still the same talented team we were yesterday, and have plenty enough talent to beat Southern Miss.

um, I'm agreeing with you....I think we will win by more than 2 TD's

If they crowd the line, Ainge will find the single coverage, we will get the TD because our guys are faster than theirs, and we will win by even more than two TD's.

After that game, everyone is going to take away UT's short passing game, and force Ainge to throw it downfield. Because everyone thinks he's injured and can't.

UT's best player on the defensive line is injured.

UT is in a lot of trouble right now.

As long as we shake this week off, we will win next week. Carry the funk and anything could happen. Anyone remember Memphis?

OK

Cal is a good team. We lost to a good team. We did not lose to a good team gracefully, though. We looked plain weak, slow, and ugly on defense. Despite Ainge's good numbers, we were mostly harmless on offense. Passing attack was pretty good, but no deep threat, so I say average. Running attack was, well, it looked a lot like last year. No Coker really hurt.

No, the reason we couldn't make big plays was because the WR's didn't know how to beat Cal's secondary. Ainge can deliver the ball just fine. Our guys will get better as the year goes on.

I'm gonna reserve my comments on what I think about the team as a whole until after next week. The cal game told me some about where we stand, but southern miss next week should tell us what to expect for the rest of the season.

UT's DL is terrible and just lost their best player. I think UT is in trouble.
