SC will probably clobber UT.

If Bray can stay upright, UT does have a punchers chance, though.

Wouldnt count on that..Ga scored 7and on that defense and their offense is more balanced than ours. Plus I doubt we can contain Lattimore or Shaw.Mobile QBs are a pain in the ass and as undisciplined as our D is it could get ugly. Carolina scares me much more than Ala right now.

I believe our Tackles are good enough to keep SC ends off of Bray most of the time..

They will get through every now and then, but not enough to do what they did to UGA

The biggest obstacle will be keeping Lattimore from doing what UF and UGA RB's did to us.

If our defense could just stop those HUGE plays we would be undefeated right now

I honestly believe it depends on which USCe and UT teams show up. If the USCe team that played Vandy and the UT that played NCstate shows up we will have a very good shot at beating them. Honestly the UGa game showed nothing except that one team came prepared and the other was so dang worn out from the UT win. I am more worried about their offense than the defense we have to contain Shaw and Lattimore. The times we have beaten Spurrier is when we jump on them quick and that's the key to this years game. If we can get up on them by 2 scores I don't think they have the passing game to come back even against our secondary. First we need to get by Miss. st and Bama and then worry about USCe.

I know it was the first game but SC struggled vs candy and Ga blew candy out. So it is hard to make sense of it. Ga got bad breaks early and got down by a lot and seemed to mail it in. Anything can happen.

Carolina has played down to us the last two years. They should've absolutely slaughtered us last year but didn't. They also find a way to screw up majorly in at least one game per year. Kensucky got close again, maybe it's our turn.

Until they prove otherwise, I'm optimistic.

I live in Knoxville.....I attended college on the Hill, and am a lifelong fan.

If being realistic about the state of the program, and pessimistic about how Bray will perform against USCe makes me a troll, then so be it.

I love my Vols enough to see their current deficiencies, and to desire to see them addressed. If you don't want differing opinions, the internet is not the place for you.

That was the best game I have seen South Carolina play in awhile. There is no way they play that good against us. We both have 2 really tough games before we meet so time will tell what they have. The key is giving Bray enough time to throw and our D slowing their running game down.

The secret to beating Clowney is to put a tight end on him along with the tackle and run right at him. He is a great pass rusher but he can not stop the run when it comes right at him.

Georgia couldn't score because Murray couldn't get a throw off. Our O-line is better than Georgia's. We protect Bray, and we have a very good chance in that gam.

I am inclined to think that your hope is correct. Herbstreit said, after the game, that, taking nothing away from South Carolina, it had been a long time since he was more disappointed in a team's performance than he was with Georgia's.
