I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but they have NO secondary.. Georgia had wide open receivers all night but Murray couldn't make the throws. I feel like if we can just slow their D-Line down A LITTLE, then we could light them up in the passing game. Just a wishful thought.

the problem will be their line and allowing Bray to have enough time to make those throws.

That could have been part of Murray's problem was being afraid that he was about to constantly get hit

Clowney is tuff tuff tuff! But then again, Tiny is really good. For the most part, the O line really contained the DL stud from Georgia...Jarvis something. I was impressed!

Their OL was exposed, Murray had no time in the pocket. Luckily UT's OL is very good at pass protection. Bray should have a bit more time to throw than Murray but not a lot, that SC DL is scary good. Can't wait to watch that matchup, should be a fun game. But more importantly we need a W this Saturday in Starksville first.

The thing is, while we may be able to stop Clowney...(unlikely) South Carolina still has other players on the D-line that will give us problems. I'm more worried about our Defense stopping Lattimore & Shaw.

Over/under on false start penalties when Clowney is lined up across from Tiny?

Good question. I'd start at 2.5, maybe three. And they'll for sure be on a potential scoring drive knocking us out of scoring position. Just following the trend here.

On the other hand, I was pleased with the job they did against Jones for UGA. Clowney is the real deal and it will take a great showing from the line to stop him.

Who is better, Clowney or Jones? I think we did just fine with Jones.

sc has a bit more talent than we do so the Vols need to play with pride and desire. Their front seven plays tough physical football, and they are fast. The team that wants it more will win this game.

We have the best pass protectors in the NCAA.
Just saying.

You're right. The key will be giving Bray the time he needs for A. The play to open and B. Bray to find his man. Their pass rush is relentless though so it's going to be tough sledding for the O-Line.
