Isn’t it refreshing that we beat the teams we should beat every season this year in Mizzou, SC, and Kentucky and yea I will add Vandy to that group that’s a assured win. We have lost to these teams to many times in the last decade and we got to take that step to beating these teams every year then the next step beating one of the big three Florida , Georgia and Bama.

It will be more refreshing when we beat them and out recruit them.

Yep, that's the first step to returning to relevance: consistently beating the teams you should, year in and year out.

Agree. But it seems like some fans have a hard time accepting this. It’s strange. If we would have lost to SC, some fans would be bashing Heupel and this team. Yet we blow them out and those same
Ones say things like well it’s SC what do you expect.

Yes but both KY and SC beat FL which means odds are we should have beaten them and simply didn’t perform.

I will be completely sold on this program when we can beat all the teams we have still beat in the past 15 years along with being able to beat atleast 1 of the 3 big rivals (Fl, GA, AL) every year consistently.

Until we stop losing to all 3 on a regular basis nothing has technically changed.

But…..my eyes can see Huepel clearly knows what he is doing and I believe he will turn us around and it will happen.

I hardly worry about what fans think. I am more concerned about what recruits think. There are greater odds they have not lost their minds, which most fans often do.

I'll take 8 wins headed into Heupels 1st signing day, I don't care if it's the school for the blind
Yeah I hope we beat Ga, but that defense is good. Their offense is not that explosive it’s just their defense gives them many possessions.

We need to play Florida later in the season

I have felt that way for years. I remember how in 2001, that game got pushed to the end of the season due to 9/11. Now, I don't ever wish for things like that to happen, but it being played at the end of the season, at least back then, that that should be happening every year. Of course, I am sure Florida fans would prefer to come up here in September rather than late November.
