We should approach that game with one goal and that is to stop the run..stack the box and no matter what, make sure Lattimore doesn't beat us.

Chances are Garcia will be drunk off his a$$ and throw 3 or 4 interceptions.

Lattimore and Jeffrey on offense. Ingram and Clowney on defense. I think the two defensive guys scare me worse. They create turnovers and score points.

Vandy did a good job containing SC's offense, but SC's defense did a good job containing,,,lol,,,Vandy's offense. Vandy gave up 14 points to the SC's d-line. Contain Clowney and Ingram and game on.

Yeah I get that..I'm not saying shut him down, because that's obviously not gonna happen.

Just try to contain him and make Garcia try to beat us..and I don't think he can.

Our line won't be able to block them. And if Garcia hits Bar Knoxville Fri night we won't stand a chance.

Teams seldom get up for Vanderbilt, enough said

I dont think you can attribute Garcia throwing 5 picks as ''not getting up'' for Vanderbilt. No...he just sucks most of the time. Sure he may have a big game here and there, but he is an extreme liability to a team that has hopes of contending for the SEC East.

I agree they are very beatable. If vandy had any offense they could have walked away with a win, but it's vandy so... Lattimore has done his fair share to win some games. Clowney and Ingram are going to give our line fits and disrupt our pass and run game if we don't learn to block pretty quick. If we get a run game going to some degree we should be fine.

Spurrier threw his headset not once but twice and that was 1 for each QB.

USCjr is having issues on offense mainly with the QB play. If that doesn't change UT will have a legit shot to beat them.

I agree we should make containing Lattimore our top priority on D. Make Garcia win it with his arm. If he does, kudos to them, but Lattimore is by far the most important cog on their offense. Don't let him beat us and we have a chance.

On the flip side, we'll need a good game from the o-line. There's still plenty of time for them to get coached up and improve between now and then. The next couple of games should let us know how our offense is going to shake out with Hunter gone.

I'm interested to see how Dooley faces the adversity. With some good coaching, we should at least make a game of it.

Yep, seeing as we made brantley look pretty good it kinda scares me to think of facing a team with Jeffrey out wide and a rb that is elite between the tackles as well to keep us in the box and force a lot of man coverage. Anyone saying their offense isn't that great doesn't watch football.

I watch football and if you can take Lattimore out of the game, their offense isn't that great. Jeffrey is a really good receiver, but Garcia isn't impressive. It would be interesting to see the numbers Alshon could put up if he had a quality QB.

I'm not saying Garcia is all world or anything but the guy had over 3000 yards in the sec last year. Pretty impressive. Course it does help having lattimore to put 8 in the box but regardless he's no slouch.

Not sure that UTK can stop the run even with the box stacked when they know it's coming. The good take away from last night is that the Vols should not have to worry much about beating VU. 6-6 seems to be in the bag again.

How did we make Brantley look good? He dinked and dunked us the first drive. Then hit the big play to Rainey. Other than that he sucked. FL beat us with their D and the loss of Hunter. The Gamecocks offense was terrible last night. Outside of Lattimore and Jeffery they are horrible. Right now their defense is winning games for them. If we dont turn the ball over this should be a win for us.

Why is that? Pead is an NFL caliber back that other than the one big run didn't do much else against us. Rainey and Demps both have unreal speed. I agree we are going to have to tackle better against bama, uga,sc, and lsu. None of those teams have backs like Pead,Rainey or Demps. I think our D will play better against the RB's we have coming up on the schedule.
