Everybody here is a wannabe. South Carolina, Clemson and Tennessee football has not done anything exciting in a decade. It all comes down to what you are doing now, and to be honest, none of us are doing anything. Clemson may win the ACC this year, SC and UT sure aren't winning the SEC. It's easy to live in the past, especially when you are ragging on a team that doesn't have much of a winning history like SC. SC is on the way up, getting deeper and better every single year, much like Florida did. We as fans hope to one day have a dominating program that competes for a national championship every year, but right now we take beating the teams we are suppose to beat, and upsetting a few that we're not. No matter how much UT fans dislike it, South Carolina's current program is on the same level as your current program. South Carolina has a very GOOD chance at beating you. Sure UT could win too, but if SC wins would that shock the world? Hardly. Winning traditions can crash fast...don't forget the Chicago Cubs were the first team to win back to back World Series Championships...101 years after they won a world series, and 64 years after they've tasted a NL pennant they are now known as the lovable losers. Don't get me wrong, I wish SC had HALF of the tradition UT has, I respect the hell out of it, but RIGHT now these programs are very similar in talent, and both have equal chance of success.
