have used a pretty simple formula to beat us the last few years. They play a physical bend but don't break defense and seemingly always try to play a physical run game offensively. They will certainly keep 7 in the box vs the run and will likely only rush 3-4 on passing downs. Have we improved enough physically to control the run game on both sides of the ball, can we control field position, play turnover free?? I think their young QB will turn it over a couple of times, I think Chandler will have a big day, I think both our OL and DL get push all day and I think home field advantage will push the Vols to a much needed win. If we are in 3rd and 8 or over all game then it'll be hard to overcome with our QB play so far this year. 3rd and 5 or less a bunch I think we'll win by 2 scores.

Personally I think based on the practice reports Shrout will get his shot on Saturday with JG in relief if it goes south early. He will have a limited pass package that will feature what he does well... which means he's going to throw deep when they catch USCe in man.

Otherwise, they'll try to pound USCe and pound them some more with the run game.

I don't think JJ is a QB or a good option there on a regular basis. I do think he'll be out there for the wildcat again. Hopefully they'll forget about spreading them out since that just allows them to go man and put an extra guy in the box. Go big and run right at them. Shoot. Maybe even give JJ two backs and run the triple option.

Javon Kinlaw might be a problem. He is a monster.

All this doesn't matter if your boy JG starts.

In the game of numbers on the line of scrimmage, they will beat us on most plays, I would think.

Key to the game will be who converts more 3rd downs and who wins the turnover battle. Neither team has any bigtime playmakers so I think it'll be a back and forth affair.

Haven't beat him to this point. Would love to have Maurer, instead we get either JG or a guy that was behind JG and Maurer. Ugh.
