1. He misspelled Petersen.

2. Petersen banned players from using twitter during the season.

3. This guy only has 80 followers and it appears a good chunk of them are Arkansas fans. No teammates following him.

Consider me skeptical.

I hope Hart at least pursued Petersen or he is going to have some explaining to do. I don't want to knock Strong or anyone else at this point but Petersen would (would have) been a home run hire and maybe the best coach available this year. Most agree that Tennessee is the best job open and if we don't get the best available coach I will be disapointed. I never really thought Petersen was in play.

That said I have a feeling the real Joe Southwick would know how to spell Chris Petersen's last name.

Dave Hart should go throw bank at Chris Petersen ....Heck he could outwit Stoops and Patterson (part of our wishlist) in those Fiesta Bowls

if not Gruden or Stoops he should be third on our list. Ill be seriously skeptical of UT's leadership if Arkansas gets him and we end up with Dooley II.
Who cares if he's a Scientologist.. as long as he's a good person and can coach ..I don't care

Not confirmed and I don't know how much I can really trust, but while on twitter I can't help but notice a lot of chatter going on about this. Can anyone else give some info? If true, this makes me think even more that UT NEEDS to have a big name. JMO

Is Peterson even on Hart's list? Only names I heard are Fisher, Strong, Golden and Gundy.

I know that's what all there boards are saying and thats what the "sources" are saying but we all know "sources" don't mean crap. I believe Jayson Swain tweeted earlier a Boise State player wishing Petersen the best of luck in the future so maybe it could be something. If it does happen then that places a lot of pressure on Hart, because I'll be damned if they get Petersen and we get some cut rate Dooley replacement.

**Checked the tweet out and like said its totally fake, its the starting QB and he only has a 125 followers and he spelled his coaches name wrong.

I'm going to be hella pissed if Arky lands him. Don't know if the newest twitter is bogus too but it's in the cliff notes.

Heard Cal is pursuing him hard real hard. My gut tells me he stays on the west coast but you never know.

Not going to happen. I find it hilarious that they make fun of us.

Their prom date begging demonstrates why Hart has kept his search secret.
