Our name has gotten positive mention a good deal in the post season commentary.

I live within a mile and half of the stadium here in Glendale. Just rode my trike by looking @ the prep going on and just knowing that we're getting real close in setup/personnel of being good enough to be there.

Damn near enough to make an old Vol fan haz a feelz.:shades:

Tampa or Bust...GBO!!!:dance2:

But prolly won't ride my trike to Tampa. It has pedals. :)

Glad to know another fan here in az, I'm about 15 minutes from stadium, I'm West of the 101

Source: #Tennessee LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin likely to return for senior season if current Penn State DC Bob Shoop is hired at UT.

from this guy:

Host Jared Stillman on ESPN Nashville 102.5 The Game 9a-Noon CT. Also NFL Sunday Tennessee Pregame Show. Life Rewards Action.

GLD on twitter is saying if Bob Shoop is hired JRM will likely return for his Senior season and if Bob Shoop is not hired JRM will likely return for his Senior season. Jared Stillman had no news he just through Shoop's name in there for maximum effect.

You people need to slow down on this playoff talk. If we don't develop a better down field passing game, we have zero chance at making the playoffs. Line has to protect, Dobbs has to read the coverage better, deliver an accurate ball, and the receivers have to get open. It never fails, when a defense gets in our faces, and blitzes, we fail in one of these phases. We can not screen pass our way through pressure, defenses are looking for it, and will continue to if we do not back them off with an effective passing game.
It's apparent you along with myself, have actually watched all our games this year lol.

Don't live in Glendale but I followed the Cardinals from St. Louis to AZ. Hoping for a Super Bowl this year and a NC for our Vols next year.

Teams can and have won it all without potent passing attack.
The Oline has made strides and should actually be a strength next year. Healthy WR Corp will also pay dividends.
The passing game will improve simply based on the experience and another year of Debord after knocking off rust.

I'm also hoping we see improvement in these same areas you speak of.

Hahaha.... Some people just need to be a little more enlightened about what they are watching. I'm sure most of these people have watched all our games ( like I have ), they just see a different game than I do lol

I'm one of these guys who watches the trenches when the ball is snapped, not the ball or the QB. If the blocking is good ( about 3 seconds of protection ), then I'll follow the QB/ball.When we are on defense, I do the same thing. Beating blocks at the line is essential to being effective on defense.

JRM will come back because he is undersized to be an NFL linebacker.

2009, Alabama, National Champions
Greg McElroy
198 of 325, 60.9 comp%, 2508yds,
17 TD, 4 int

2015, UT, Josh Dobbs
204 of 344, 59.6 comp%, 2291yds,
15 TD, 5 int

I would argue that a dominant Defense, coupled with our currently effective offense is already good enough to win a Natty. The numbers speak for themselves.

I've started a piggy bank for Atlanta tickets.

There's an easy way to accomplish your plan.
Every week---save the following:
Week 1---$1
Week 2---$2
Week 3---$3
Week 4---$4

Just keep it going for 52 weeks and add a dollar each week. You'll have your ticket money and more. That shouldn't be very hard to do.

Can't argue with that. Add Dobbs rushing stats and Dobbs>McElroy

Sure you can. Look at UT's passing stats and rating against OU and Florida for example. If you really want to dive deep into the stats, check out our passing efficiency when the defense blitzes.

Probably be easier to just youtube the UT OU game, watch the second half, and watch how much they blitzed us and see how we crumbled offensively

If I'm not mistaken, Dobbs led the team in receiving against Florida! That's a freaking joke! You gotta be able to throw the ball better than that!
