Man, that dude doesn't have a job anymore. What a stupid decision. Why troll us? We were nice at 55-0. Could have easily made it 75-80...

Why we even played them is beyond comprehension. It's only a monetary benefit to their school. If we had beat them 200-0, nobody cares. It's meaningless to play schools like this. Just like Indiana State this season. Ridiculous

Its good for the teams that we play like this. Looking a gift horse in the mouth and they probably need to check themselves and think about what they get from being privileged to be on our schedule.

Whoever was operating that twitter account had been sitting on that play for awhile so it wasn't a "drunk, stupid" moment; it was an ignorant, classless, colossal fail at an attempt to throw shade at big brother.

Hope they enjoyed their payday.

smh... tech had to be doing this for publicity you would think??? If that was the case and im not saying it was but they went the wrong way about it. In my opinion they should have said something like congrats to DB you beat the breaks off of us enjoy making that money. To me that would have been the way to do it not that butt hurt crap...

I brought this up a couple of years ago. Barnett was not an early enrollee and instead spent the summer working out with his high school track team in Nashville. A few thought he might be better suited to slide inside based on what he weighed his senior year (275). Instead, his summer work outs (not with Lawson) resulted in a 260 pound d-linemen who was in better shape than any other player returning at that position, and the rest is history. Immediate starter, all-time sack leader and The 1st player drafted in the 1st round since 2010.

Butch should have immediately over hauled his S&C. He didn't and in fact allowed this to become a point of contention within the program. Lawson was not a great coach, but failing to replace him was an even bigger issue.

This is also a reason why I have no confidence in Shoop. Barnett was the biggest advantage from a scheme perspective he's ever coached. Teams had to adjust their game plan due to Barnett. A player like that allows you to do a lot of things and takes pressure off. A great pass rush is a DBs best friend and double teams allow defenses to free up an extra defender and create unique blitzes. How many times did Shoops blitz to exploit the double and even triple teams Barnett saw at times? Barnett's individual #s were impressive but Shoop failed to capitalize in other areas due to the focus on Barnett.
