:lolabove: Im kinda new to the board and I always see the Wilks references. Whats the running joke? I know it has to be funny because I laugh at it without even knowing the joke.

This time last year their Facebook would have been more like..."Just got out on bail for flailing my arms and yelling at Oh god in the morning."

Hopefully they'll be too sore to participate in that type of nonsense and better they'll be thinking twice about staying out late and partying given the S&C demands they have to endure.

I dont know what Long made them do, but I have thought for some times that we were a soft team. It drove me crazy because we would read all these articles about new weight room records being set, but on saturdays we were pushed all over the field.

Notice that when Cutcliffe was here in the 90's, the team had discipline offensively and were always in shape. When Cutcliffe leaves, that is gone. Cutcliffe comes back in 2006-2007, BOOM! we are in shape offensively and have good discipline (for the most part). Then when Cutcliffe leaves, we lack discipline and conditioning...

That's because Cut was effectively the HC offense and Chavis the HC defense, no one really had ST and Phil did the Fulmer Show on Sunday's and collected the BIG check.

It was a running joke until Rod Wilks chased it down on foot and beat the ever living crap out of it.

I'd sleep with my eyes open for a couple days if I were you. No one uses Rod Wilks and the word 'joke' in the same sentence and gets away with it.

lol today i was walking up the hill from alumni memorial to the library and there were two tall guys, i'm sure that they were football players, limping towards the corner (coming from the ATMs to take a right and go up the hill). they just stopped and looked up the hill
"you gonna go up that?"
"man f*** nah. let's wait on the bus or someone."
