Souce's Coffee Discussion Thread

I had to drink Mcdonald's coffee because we failed to buy bagged coffee yesterday! what a terrible morning. The spouse blames me but I blame her. Go figure

I ain't seen any of the ones on the first page at Walmart or Publix here in Ft. Myers. I did not go to the next page.

And ftr, I like what I like and don't really care what everyone else likes. Especially a bunch of foodie/coffee hipsters.
Thought you were a hipster

I drink 8 o clock. Never tried none of those, was just offering it since this is a coffee thread.

Calm down lady, I'd be glad to try any of those if they were available without ordering.

I like 8:00 aight.

so I guess unless I go buy fancy stuff, I’m stuck with this machine from the DFAC for when I want coffee. It’s weird. Gives options for coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, and just hot water. Watching it pour into my cup was weird. Looked like disgusting coffee syrup followed by mostly hot water and repeated a few times until the cup was full. Surprisingly though, the coffee wasn’t bad. It was a Nestle machine

I've probably mentioned this before, but I had a Douwe Egberts coffee machine at The Lighthouse. The coffee was concentrated in liquid form and came in frozen in a box like coke/soda syrup. It was a great cup of coffee. There was no waste, never old and never had to wait to make a fresh pot. It cost a little more, but not much. Think I remember it being like .25-.30 more per pot.

The coke syrup sounds very much like what this was. I just figured it would blend before coming out instead of once it got into my cup. If that makes sense

Yeah, that sounds like those coffee machines I used to see in places like hospitals.

Pretty much what it was. Just had a fancier front plate/interface than I’ve seen before. But 8 hours of sitting in a class all week is going to require some caffeine help
